Google removes reviews without notice. There's no email, no alert, no explanation. One day your rating is 4.7 with 120 reviews — the next it's 4.5 with 115. You can't explain the change to your team or your clients.
Without detection, deleted reviews simply vanish. You lose the review text, the star rating, the reviewer name — everything. If you want to appeal or understand patterns, you're starting from zero.

Limitations
- Detection happens at sync time, not instantly. There may be a delay between when Google removes a review and when we detect it.
- ReviewPanel cannot prevent deletions. We detect and record them — we cannot block Google's moderation actions.
- Cannot guarantee Google will restore appealed reviews. We provide the data to support your appeal, but the outcome is Google's decision.
FAQ
How quickly are deleted reviews detected?
Detection happens at each sync. Depending on your plan, that could be daily, weekly, or monthly. A monthly full reconciliation also runs to catch anything missed between syncs.
What data is preserved when a review is deleted?
Everything we had stored: review text, star rating, reviewer display name, review date, and your reply if one existed. The review is marked as deleted but never removed from your data.
How do appeals work?
We provide the original review data (text, rating, date, reviewer) so you can reference it in a Google support appeal. ReviewPanel does not submit appeals on your behalf — you use the data we preserve to file your own.
Can ReviewPanel automatically restore deleted reviews?
No. Only Google can restore a removed review. ReviewPanel detects the deletion and preserves the data so you have evidence for an appeal, but restoration is entirely up to Google.
