Using Deletion Data for Appeals

When a legitimate review is removed by Google, you can use the preserved data from ReviewPanel to support an appeal.

What data is available

For each tombstoned review, ReviewPanel preserves:

  • Google review ID
  • Original review text
  • Star rating
  • Reviewer display name
  • Date originally posted and date detected as deleted

How to access

Open your dashboard, navigate to the location, and select the Deleted Reviews tab. All tombstoned reviews are listed with their preserved data.

Copy for Google Support

From the Deleted Reviews tab, you can export a formatted summary suitable for submitting to Google Support. This includes the review ID, text, rating, and dates in a structured format that support agents can reference.

Use the copy or export button next to any tombstoned review to generate this formatted output.

Important caveats

Google makes the final decision on whether to restore a removed review. ReviewPanel preserves the data to support your appeal, but restoration is not guaranteed. Google's content policies and automated systems determine review eligibility.
