I started ReviewPanel because the existing options for Google review management were either overpriced enterprise tools ($99+/mo minimum) or half-baked plugins that broke every time Google updated their API. There was nothing in between for the local business owner who just wants to track their reviews, embed them on their site, and know when something changes.
The first version was built to scratch my own itch — I was helping a family member manage reviews across a few locations and kept thinking "this should not be this hard."
