Run a Geo-Grid Scan

Geo-Grid scans show where your business ranks in local search results across a geographic area. Here's how to configure and run one.

Prerequisites

  • A location connected via Google Business Profile.
  • A search keyword you want to track (e.g., "dentist near me", "plumber").
  • Available scan coins (included with your plan).

Steps

  1. 1 Navigate to the Geo-Grid tab in your dashboard.
  2. 2 Select the location you want to scan.
  3. 3 Enter your target search keyword.
  4. 4 Configure the grid size (e.g., 5×5, 7×7, 9×9) and radius around your business.
  5. 5 Click Run Scan. Results appear on the map when complete.

Coin system

Each scan costs coins based on the grid size (number of grid points checked). Your plan includes a monthly coin allocation that resets each billing cycle.

  • Larger grids cost more coins but give you higher geographic coverage.
  • Enterprise plans include automatic recurring scans (no manual trigger needed).

Scan duration

Scans typically complete in 1–3 minutes depending on grid size. You can navigate away — results will be available when you return, and you'll receive a notification when the scan finishes.
